- If you have Windows 3.1 you can get the cybercom.drv off the internet
- to replace the comm.drv that came with Windows. Also you can turn
- your port speed down to 19200. Comm overruns are from your computer
- getting flooded with data from your modem and this will happen even
- with a 16550 UART. I have a 16550 UART, cybercom.drv installed,
- followed the directions in cybercom.txt and still got comm overruns
- until I changed my port speed to 19200. I've noticed the higher the
- port speed the more comm overruns you will get. Also, I've never
- noticed that comm overruns hurt anything, which does not mean that it
- can't cause trouble for all internet applications (like RealAudio).
